MIGHTYLASTIC ROOF COATING bonds tightly to a wide variety of surfaces including Built-Up Roofs, Metal, Concrete, EPDM Rubber, APP and SBS Modified Membranes, Mightlyply Membrane, Type II Glasbase and Mightyplate Roof Coatings, Primer and Plastic Cement. Applied to asphalt paving, it provides excellent waterproofing and cosmetic benefits to non-traffic areas. It can be applied above or below grade.

This product dries to the touch in four hours or less, with complete curing achieved in seven to ten days. Its cold flexibility properties are outstanding, with no cracking occurring at -13°F. 
MIGHTYLASTIC ROOF COATING can be brushed, rolled or power sprayed. A final figure-eight brushing pattern is encouraged for attractive final appearance, or if a granulated surface is desired, roofing granules can be broadcast into coating while still wet.

A highly flexible coating manufactured to withstand constant structural movement. Buildings expand and contract as temperatures rise and fall. Inferior coatings become brittle, crack and allow water to enter in. MIGHTYLASTIC ROOF COATING remains flexible and elastic, stretching itself 300% to 400% to accommodate the movement and still remain watertight.

Roof surfaces as well as protrusions can be treated with a single product. MIGHTYLASTIC ROOF COATING is an effective waterproofing solution for above and below grade problems.
 

APPLICATION GUIDELINES: Surface Preparation:  Surface should be clean and free of all                                           dirt, debris and organic growth. Mild                                            dampness can be tolerated but water                                           accumulation must be removed. Rusty                                            metal should be primed with Quick-Dry                                           Anti-Oxdiene Coating or Mightyplate                                            Primer. Dry roofing felts or bare concrete                                           should be primed with Mightyplate                                            Primer. Weak areas, cracks, splits, holes                                           or delaminated seams must be repaired                                           with Mightyplate Plastic Cement and                                           Glas-Web (bituminous surfaces) or                                           Rubber Patch and Poly-Mat (EPDM                                            surfaces) before coating the roof. Application:                  Stir lightly so product is of uniform                                            consistency. Apply approximately 3                                            gallons per 100 square feet over                                            bituminous and concrete roofs; 2 gallon                                           per 100 square feet over metal and                                            rubber roofs. For capsheets, allow a                                            minimum of 7 gallons per 100 square feet                                           for one-ply system; 10 gallons per 100                                           square feet for two-ply system. Drying Time:                 Coating is dry to touch within four hours;                                           full curing in 7-10 days under favorable                                            conditions. Topcoating:                  MIGHTYLASTIC is compatible with                                           Texas Refinery Aluminum Roof Coating,                                            Super Aluminum Roof Coating and                                            Texotropic Fibered Aluminum Roof                                            Coating. Or roofing granules may be                                            broadcast into wet coating to achieve                                            desired color effect. Clean Up:                       Water cleanup before curing. Limitations:                    Do not apply if showers are expected                                           within four to six hours after application.                                           Do not apply at temperatures below 50°F.                                           Do not apply in areas where water ponds                                           for prolonged periods.                                           KEEP FROM FREEZING. Store only in                                            heated area in northern climates.
